tiny rainbows

Ich liebe ja Karten, von denen man total schnell viele produzieren kann, die aber gleichzeitig 'nach was aussehen'. Hier habe ich gleich einen ganzen Schwung mini-Regenbögen gemacht, inspiriert dazu hat mich ein Video von Jennifer McGuire, bei dem sie die weiß ausgestanzten Teile hinter den Motiven gestapelt hat.

Für meine Karten hier habe ich mir die Stanzen zu den jeweiligen Hasen und Katzen geschnappt und die durchgekurbelten Teile in Regenbogenfarben hinter die Motive geklebt, auf manchen Karten mehr und auf anderen weniger versetzt. Eignet sich übrigens bei so kleinen Motiven auch toll zur Resteverwertung!

Don't we all just love cards that are quick and easy to mass produce but still have a unique look to them? I was inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire in which she had die cut a few layers of the same stamp from white card stock and stacked them behind the image to make it stand out. I think this is a great way to create fun cards that look a bit different.

For my cards I die cut the bunnies and cats in lots of different colours (great way to make use of small pieces of card stock) and glued them behind the coloured image. On some I created kind of an offset on one side, so you can really see the rainbow, on others it's a bit more hidden and you can only tell if you look at it from the side.
