Zig-zag! | Papercraft Challenges #17

es ist wieder Design-Team-Tag!

Dieses Mal lautet das Thema der Papercraft Challenge 'ZigZag' und ihr habt wie immer zwei Wochen Zeit, uns eure Werke hier zu zeigen.

Als Inspiration habe ich gleich zwei Karten für euch, dazu durften die süßen Fröschlein von Create A Smile über's Papier hüpfen.

Ich wollte außerdem unbedingt endlich das Nuvo Mousse ausprobieren. Für die erste Karte hab ich das Mousse einfach wie Stempelfarbe verwendet. Das wird natürlich nicht ganz so sauber aber man bekommt damit eine tolle Struktur. Den Frosch für Karte Nummer 1 habe ich - passend zum Thema ;) - mit Zigs koloriert.

Für die zweite Karte habe ich die Außenlinien der Dreiecke heat-embossed und die Nuvo Mousse wie Wasserfarben verwendet, um sie auszumalen. Hier bekommt man einen schönen Schimmer-Effekt.

Dieses Fröschlein habe ich mit Copic Markern ausgemalt.

To inspire you, I have two cards to show you and for them I used the froggies from Create A Smile.

I really wanted to finally try the Nuvo Mousse and for the first card I'm showing you I just used them like a stamping pad. The impression obviously isn't as clean but you get some great texture.

And because I wanted to stick to the theme I used my Zings to colour the frog. ;)

For card number two I heat-embossed the outlines of the triangles and coloured them with Nuvo Mousse, all I did was adding a little water. You get a great shimmer effect if you use them like this.

This time I used copic markers to colour the frog.
