t-rex

 Hallöchen :) 

Der T-Rex sitzt tatsächlich schon eine ganze Weile in meinen Entwürfen, diese Rocker-Card habe ich gemacht, als mein Papa Schmerzen im Arm hatte, und diesen nur mehr eingeschränkt bewegen konnte - wie ein T-Rex eben ;)

Eines meiner Au Pair Kids hat sich beim Motorbike fahren den Knöchel gebrochen und ich hab ihm eine Karte in den Farben seiner Ausrüstung gemacht. 

Den Rest der Ferien drinnen statt im Motorbikelager zu verbringen ist natürlich bitter aber der Fernseher sorgt hoffentlich für Ablenkung.

One of my Au Pair kids broke his ankle and to cheer him up I made a card for him.
Of course it's no fun to spend the rest of the holildays inside instead of the motorbike camp but hopefully the TV will offer some distraction.

Die Füchse von Create a Smile sind meine absoluten Lieblinge für Gute-Besserungs-Karten, mit dem Pflaster gehen die einfach immer.

Dandelion Wishes

Huhu :)

Ich hab mich gestern Nachmittag in mein Bastelzimmer verzogen und ein Kartenset mit den süßen Kerlchen vom Mama Elephant Pusteblumenset gewerkelt.

Weils zur Abwechslung mal schnell gehen sollte hab ich nichts geschnitten sondern direkt am weißen Cardstock koloriert und mit bunten Kartenrohlingen etwas Farbe reingebracht.

Yesterday I wanted to create a bunch of quick cards without any fussy cutting and these cuties have been sitting on my desk for a while now. Unfortunately they got neglected along with all the other non-Christmas stamp sets but now I finally had time to go back to other occasions ;)

I just stamped and coloured the images on regular cardstock and used colourful card bases to give them a more fun look.

Ein Pflasterchen

Die Neuseeland-Karten wollen einfach nicht aufhören. Dieses Mal war der Anlass nicht ganz so schön, aber ich hoffe die Karte erfüllte ihren Zweck und half bei der schnellen Genesung.

Weil ich gefühlt immer das gleiche Kartendesign habe, habe ich mir hier bewusst verboten, meine Lieblingsstanzen von Create A Smile zu verwenden und dafür zum Kreis gegriffen.
Darauf habe ich mit Distress Oxiden und Wasser etwas ausgetobt.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich kleinere Stempel aus den Sets Get Well Soon von Lawn Fawn und Doctor's Helpers von Create a Smile mit Lawn Fawn Ink in der Farbe Manatee gestempelt.

The New Zealand cards won't stop coming and while I normally wouldn't complain about that this time the occasion wasn't such a happy one. I hope the card helped speed up the recovery process and put a smile on the recipient's face :)

I felt like I always use the same design for my cards so this time I challenged myself to leave my favourite die in the drawer ;) What do you think?

Die nächste Grippewelle kommt bestimmt und ich hab schon mal vorgesorgt mit dem süßen Kerlchen von Create A Smile.

One can never have too many get well soon cards, right? This little cutie from Create A Smile will go straight into my stock and hopefully brighten someones day in the future. :)
