für die Karte die ich euch heute zeige, musste ich mal wieder extra ein Stempelset kaufen. Das kommt bei meinem riesigen Fundus eigentlich kaum mehr vor, aber einen Hubschrauber hatte ich tatsächlich noch nicht, dafür war der passende Spruch schon vorhanden. 😅

heute möchte ich euch eine Karte zeigen, wo der Hintergrund so richtig knallt! Rot/Grau hab ich sonst als Farbkombi eher nicht am Schirm, aber hier gefällts mir.

Für die silbernen Akzente im Hintergrund habe ich einfach Heißtransferfolie auf die noch nicht ganz trockenen Alcohol-Ink Stellen gedrückt.

Today I want to show you a card where the background pops! Red/grey normally isn't a colour combi I would be drawn to but I kinda like it here.

To create the silver accents in the back I used heat transfer foil and pressed it onto the not-quite-dry patches of the alcohol ink.

Für die Gastgeber gab es gestern natürlich auch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Die Stanze hatte ich im kreativbunt Adventkalender und wird bestimmt noch sehr oft zum Einsatz kommen.

Ich hoffe ihr habt alle eure Feierlichkeiten gut überstanden und seid gut im neuen Jahrzehnt angekommen :)

Of course I couldn't show up empty-handed at the party so I made a bottle tag for our hosts. The die was in my advent calendar from kreativbunt and I will definitely be using it a lot in the future.

I hope you survived all the new years celebrations and started the decade off right! :)

Eines meiner Au Pair Kinder hatte Geburtstag, und weil sie so süß ist gab's Eis... also zumindest symbolisch, für das echte hat dann hoffentlich die Mama gesorgt ;)

One of my au pair kids had her birthday last week and because she's so sweet she got some ice cream... well, on paper at least, her mum hopefully provided the real deal ;)

Während wir hier im Schneechaos versinken zeige ich euch noch zwei super schnelle Regenbogen-Karten. Man nehme 6 verschiedene Stempelfarben, ein bisschen Transparentpapier und Embossingpulver und fertig ist die bunte Karte. (:

Geburtstags-Koala

Heute hab ich wieder eine Geburtstagskarte für euch, und zwar die für meinen Papa.

Die Punkte im Hintergrund sind von Create A Smile. Gestempelt hab ich sie zuerst mit Distress Oxiden und danach hab ich die Außenlinie etwas versetzt mit schwarzem Embossingpulver heat-embossed, genau wie das 'birthday' von Avery Elle. Das kleine 'happy' kommt von Lawn Fawn.

Für den Slider hab ich eine Stanze von Lawn Fawn benutzt, das tolle interaktive Set von Dani Peuss, damit mein Papa auch weiß, was er machen muss und mit dem süßen Koala von Avery Elle habe ich den Slider versteckt.

Auf diesem Weg hat mein Papa dann auch erfahren, dass er zum Geburtstag Karten für das George Ezra Konzert bekommt - das zuuuufällig an meinen Geburtstag stattfindet, hihi.



Today I want to show you the birthday card I made for my dad.

The dots in the back are from a Create A Smile stamp set, I used distresse oxides to stamp them in two colours and because I wanted to give the card a bit of a messier look I didn't heat-embossed the outlines very tidy.
I also used heat-embossing for the word 'birthday' from Avery Elle. The little 'happy' is from Lawn Fawn.

For the slider I used the die from Lawn Fawn and the interactive stamp set from Dani Peuss so my dad knows what to do haha. I hid the slider element with the cute koala from Avery Elle.

That's how my dad found out we got him tickets for George Ezra - and the show just so happens to be on my birthday, haha
