Halli-hallo

Momentan komme ich gefühlt zu gar nichts und hab aber noch 1000 Dinge auf meiner Liste, geht's euch in der Vor-Vorweihnachtszeit auch so?  

Heute zeige ich euch eine Ticketverpackung, die wir als Familie schon vor ein paar Wochen verschenkt haben. Ich denke, das kam so ganz gut an (: Die Farbkombi hat sich meine Mama ausgesucht, die steht total auf rot-Gold.

At the moment I feel like I don't get anything done and things just keep piling up on my to-do list. Anyone else experience that when it's time to prepare for Christmas?

A few weeks ago we had a family birthday and I was tasked with finding a nice way to wrap the concert tickets. So of course I thought of Birka and her great Silhouette template (you can find it here.) My mum chose the colour combo, she's totally into reds and golds these days.

Puzzled Snowmen | Create a Smile Winter Bash

Einen schönen Sonntagabend meine Lieben, 

ihr habt bestimmt auf instagram schon vom Create a Smile Winter Bash gehört.
Ich möchte euch eine Puzzle-Spinner-Karte zeigen, die ich dafür gewerkelt habe. Inspiriert dazu hat mich Ashlee und ich habe mir dafür drei Kreise mit dem Plotter geschnitten (damit der Mittelpunkt auch ganz genau passt, ansonsten verschiebt sich da immer was beim Drehen) und viel maskiert.

I bet you've all heard about the Create a Smile Winter Bash on instagram by now. I made a fun puzzle spinner card inspired by Ashlee to fight the winter blues.
I used my Silhouette to cut the circles (to make sure the holes are right in the center, otherwise the card doesn't spin evenly) and masked a lot.

leider fehlt mir momentan die Zeit für sehr aufwändige Karten und deshalb gibt es heute nur ein superschnelles buntes Weihnachtskärtchen.

Sechs verschiedene Stempelkissen, einmal den Spruch heiß embossen und fertig ist die Regenbogenszene.

Nachdem ich mich in den letzten Monaten hauptsächlich meinen Copic Markern gewidmet habe, habe ich für die Daily Marker Challenge dann doch auch meine Zigs wieder hervorgekramt und fix einen Stapel süßer MFT-Tierchen coloriert.

After abandoning my zig markers a little bit of the last couple of weeks in favour of my copics I did get them out for the daily marker challenge and quickly coloured this cute stack of animals.

Kalter Po trotzdem froh

Schönen Montag ihr Lieben,

vor Kurzem habe ich in einem Geschäft eine Karte mit einem Spruch entdeckt, der mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf ging. Leider gibt's damit so weit ich weiß (noch?) keinen Stempel, deswegen hab ich ihn aus den Buchstaben von Dani Peuss zusammengesetzt und heiß embosst.

I recently saw a sentiment I really liked on a card in a store but because there's no stamp for it (yet?) I used the letters from Dani Peuss and created it myself. The sentiment says 'Kalter Po, trotzdem froh' and means 'cold bum, still happy' (and rhymes in German) :D

giving thanks

Hello everyone!

I'm super excited to be guest designing for the current Create A Smile challenge! The theme is 'giving thanks'

And here is what I created:

I just love the adorable bear from the Bear Mail stamp set, isn't he just the cutest? I hid the parcel in his hands by masking it and replaced it with a red heart. To colour the bear I used Copic markers and a white gel pen for the highlights.
The sentiment is heat-embossed and I stuck to that colour scheme by arranging golden leaves behind my bear.
For the background I played with my Distress Oxide Inks and added a few Nuvo Drops here and there.

Vielmachglas

Hach, der Plotter und ich, das war ja in den ersten Monaten wirklich eine sehr schwierige Beziehung, die ich oftmals fast beendet hätte. Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich ihn aber eeeendlich zum Laufen gebracht und endlich haben wir auch Spaß miteinander!
Jetzt hab ich mich zum ersten Mal auch an Vinylfolie gewagt, denn zum Geburtstag meiner besten Freundin musste etwas Einzigartiges her...

Wir haben uns vor einigen Monaten den Film 'Vielmachglas' angeschaut und die Idee hat mir total gut gefallen. Deswegen hab ich ihr ihr eigenes Vielmachglas zum Befüllen gemacht, mit einer kleinen Box voller Vorschläge. Die Silhouette Datei für die Pillowbox habe ich von Birka gemopst.

Me and the Silhouette - we had our struggles. I nearly threw her out the window more than once. But after reading up in various facebooks groups and trying about 99 things to make her happy I think we're finallyyy out of the woods and having fun together.

This was my first time cutting vinyl and I'm super happy with the result. The pillowbox is a freebie from Birka and was also cut with the Silhouette.
